Anand Gopal is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland. His research interests are in software engineering economics and software outsourcing, particularly offshore software development.

Prior to joining the Smith School, he spent two years with PRTM, a strategy and operations consulting firm specializing in the high-tech sector
