Faye is the program manager for CHIDS (80%) where she ensures a smooth work flow by providing administrative and operational support for short and long-term programs, projects, and events. She also oversees the center’s social media accounts, printed communication materials and tracks budget. Faye also serves as coordinator (20%) for a subset of faculty in the coordination of the department’s administrative operations and provides support to the department chair.

Janet is a Coordinator and works primarily for Hank Lucas and Bruce Golden (75%). Duties include proofreading and editing, research, and arranging catering for events etc. She provides administrative support for the Faculty Search Committee, Blended and Online Learning Advisory Council, iTBT Fellows, Networks Journal, and classes taught by Hank and Bruce. Janet provides design and layout for power point presentations, brochures, books, flyers, and photography for departmental events. She also supports faculty in the east wing of DOIT (25%) as needed.

Lindsey is the first point of contact for the Decision, Operations & Information Technologies (DO&IT) department. She coordinates the day-to-day administrative activities of DO&IT as directed by the Department Chair. Lindsey also reports directly to the Department Chair and serves as the administrative lead to the other professors (on the west corridor – i.e. Rms. 4301-4328) in the department. Moreover, Lindsey acts as intermediary for the Department Chair, interacting with officials, staff at all levels, and the public; she provides information requiring comprehensive knowledge of institution policies, procedures, and special issues. Additionally, Lindsey coordinates/manages DO&IT events, such as the DO&IT Seminar Series (i.e. weekly departmental seminars), the DO&IT Open House, Operations Management & Business Analytics (OMBA) Career Night, and TechFest, to name a few. Further, Lindsey manages DO&IT’s financial operations. As well, Lindsey monitors and manages content and design on the departmental website using Drupal.
Departmental Technology Coordinator
Tony serves as a technical resource for faculty, staff and students. participates in various faculty research related projects, computing requirements, develops short- and long-term plans to meet these needs, and assists with departmental computing initiatives as appropriate. also support for classroom teaching and lab session instruction on courses which focus on programming languages, servers and databases. As the SmithIT liaison for his department, he will work closely with the Office of Smith IT in communicating short and long-term needs about pending school-wide technology initiatives and in sharing this information with the Department of Decisions, Operation and Information Technologies.
