Application Checklist

The following are required to be considered for admission into the Executive MBA program:

  •  A completed application form that includes written essays articulating your qualifications and motivation for pursuing advanced education.
  •  The application fee is $60.00.
  •  Two official transcripts from all educational institutions that you have attended previously. These should be sent to EMBA Admissions, Office of Professional Programs and Services, Robert H. Smith School of Business, 2417 Van Munching Hall, College Park, MD, 20742. 
  •  A letter of sponsorship from an appropriate member of your organization that at a minimum stipulates that you will be given the time required to participate in the program.
  •  Two letters of recommendation regarding your professional expertise and experience from senior executives within your organization. Letters must be on the recommender's letterhead and signed across the envelope flap. Recommendation Guidelines.
  •  An admissions interview. After initial screening, the admissions committee will select candidates for interviews. The Admissions Office will contact you to schedule an interview time.
