Shaping the Future Through Design Thinking: A
Leadership Perspective
Gerald
Suarez, Associate Dean of External Strategy
When Einstein said, "We can't solve problems by using the same kind of
thinking we used when we created them,” he laid the foundation for Design
Thinking.
Design Thinking is a new way of solving problems and discovering
opportunities. Unlike analytical thinking—the traditional approach to solving
problems—Design Thinking is a process that emphasizes defining, creating,
nurturing and questioning. Instead of producing one answer, there
are several possible solutions. Instead of dictating through one voice, there
are many called upon to integrate diverse perspectives and experiences into a
shared holistic vision.
What is the value in Design Thinking for leadership, and how can you utilize
Design Thinking fundamentals to make you a better leader? What are they ways
that you can channel the principles into the workplace to inspire creative
thinking, dialogue and teamwork?
Find out these insights and many others when associate dean and noted
leadership lecturer Gerald Suarez presents “Shaping the Future Through
Design Thinking: A Leadership Perspective.” Join past, present and
future EMBA students for a special evening of stimulating ideas and exchange you
won't find anywhere else.
The event is free but you must register.
