The University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business – in partnership with TiE DC – invites you to a first-of-its-kind event featuring business school deans from the Washington, D.C., metro area in a panel discussion on “Globalization of Business Education: Promises and Challenges.” The event will be held on Monday, May 14 from 6-9 p.m. at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in downtown Washington, D.C. The panel, moderated by the Smith School’s Dean G. “Anand” Anandalingam, will discuss how business schools are enhancing undergraduate and MBA education through globalization, with a specific focus on India. Deans from all of the D.C. area business schools will be in attendance:
TiE DC is the regional chapter of TiE Inc. (The Indus Entrepreneurs), the world’s largest not-for-profit organization promoting entrepreneurship, spread over 57 locations across 14 countries. TiE’s mission to foster entrepreneurship globally through mentoring, networking, and education is delivered by its 11,000 members worldwide. The TiE DC chapter has over 200 members, including close to 100 Charter Members, CEOs of high-growth companies representing a broad range of industries in the greater Washington, D.C., region. The organization hosts regular events on timely topics for entrepreneurs.
