Information Systems from the
University of Pittsburgh, M.A. in
Economics from Central Michigan
University, and B.A. in
International Finance from Fudan
University, Shanghai, China. Her
research focuses on the dynamics of
the social, behavioral and technical
aspects of online communities in
various contexts. Her current
research examines the nature of
competition among online communities
and its impact on membership
dynamics.
