About the Lab
The
Netcentric eMarkets Research Lab is a greenhouse for research on Electronic
Markets and related areas. The lab provides faculty and students a working
environment to carry out and develop data analytic research projects. The lab's
mission is to increase faculty and student research productivity and visibility,
and to facilitate interaction and collaboration among the school's Electronic
Markets researchers. It currently has over 50 affiliated faculty and students.
Knowledge dissemination via doctoral classes, research talks and seminars is an
integral component of the lab's activity.
The lab space, in 3509 Van Munching Hall, includes technology to support
research and teaching. It provides high-level computing platforms, videotaping
and video streaming capabilities, networked workstations and servers, and
different software applications designed for conducting Electronic Markets
research and supporting collaborative research.
