In addition, several of our students
have been placed at strong institutions
within the Baltimore-Washington, D.C.,
region, such as American University, The
Catholic University of America, Howard
University, Loyola College and George
Washington University. Other students
have accepted research-related positions
in private and governmental
organizations (such as the World Bank,
General Electric Corporation, U.S. Coast
Guard, and the American Red Cross).
Over the past five years, approximately
80% of our graduates accepted positions
as tenure track assistant professors at
an accredited university directly upon
graduation, and 19% accepted research
related positions in either private or
governmental organizations. In other
words, approximately 99% of our Ph.D.
students have been successfully placed
