Elinda F. Kiss
Clinical Associate Professor
Professor Elinda F. Kiss' primary areas of research include Bank Regulation, the European Central Bank, and Fixed Income Securities. She teaches Corporate Finance, Banking, Business Finance and International Finance. Professor Kiss has served as Associate Professor in the Departments of Finance and Accounting at Rutgers University and as Assistant Professor or Lecturer at the Wharton School, Wellesley College, and Temple University. She has extensive corporate experience, having worked at several banks (First Pennsylvania Bank, PSFS, City Federal Savings), investment banks (Citicorp Investment Bank) and US government bank regulatory agencies (Resolutions Trust Corporation and Federal Reserve). She was Treasurer of a manufacturing firm. Professor Kiss served on the boards of directors of the Financial Management Association and the National Association for Business Economics. In 2007, Professor Kiss received the Allen J. Krowe teaching excellence award. She also was the recipient of the Joseph M. Wikler award for teaching excellence in Finance, and was selected as a Philip Merrill mentor. She serves as the faculty advisor for the FBIS and Business Golf clubs and is the Faculty champion for Financial Services Fellows.
