Metro Area and beyond The Dingman Center is located at the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland

Entrpreneurs can enhance their knowledge by taking a look at some of the entrepreneurial research papers published by the Smith School's highly respected and diverse research faculty. Focusing on the convergence of globalization, technology and entrepreneurship, members of our faculty tackle timely issues such as ethics in business and the cognitive behaviors behind a successful start-up.

In addition, Smith Faculty host an annual Smith Entrepreneurship Research Conference  dedicated to bringing together thought leaders from the nation's top academic institutions to discuss the complexity of the phenomenon called the entrepreneurial process.
