About Biodiesel University

Biodiesel University is a mobile renewable energy education lab. Biodiesel University will tour schools, universities, and public events providing hands-on demonstrations of biodiesel feedstocks, production and uses, and educating those who tour the facility on the topics of renewable energy sources, environmental stewardship, national energy security, and the societal and environmental costs of our national petroleum addiction.

Awareness of alternative energy sources like biodiesel is critical for our children and young adults if our society is to make wise energy choices in the coming years. Founded by Smith School Technology Commercialization Fellow Dan Goodman, Biodiesel University is the Dingman Center’s first non-profit start-up, providing a unique opportunity for students to explore the intersection of entrepreneurship and social good.
