The Dingman Center held 2 Pitch Dingman Competitions in February: in addition to the regular monthly competition, there was a special competition for Part-Time MBA Students. CAN Breakfast Update The Dingman Center’s Capital Access Network (CAN) is screening regional early-stage companies and coaching entrepreneurs in an effort to successfully connect them with the angel investor community. Many good ideas don't see the light of day because they cannot find the money to get off the ground. Enter the Capital Access Network, managed by the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business. It provides early stage businesses an opportunity to connect with accredited angel investors. But perhaps even more importantly, it provides entrepreneurs an opportunity for invaluable mentoring from experienced business experts. Read more. It recently released two document generators for quickly and easily assembling standard terms of service and privacy policies.
