Feb 8, 2012: Dingman Center Angels Investor Breakfast Regional entrepreneurs, seeking between $150,000 and $1,000,000 of seed stage financing, deliver business pitch presentations to angel investors.
Feb 17, 2012: Pitch Dingman Competition Watch 5 student entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas to the panel of successful entrepreneurs and investors and compete for $2,500 in seed funding.
Feb 19, 2012: Application deadline for Cupid’s Cup Enter your business in the 7th annual Cupid’s Cup Business Competition for a chance at $25,000 in prize money, sponsored by Under Armour founder and UMD alum, Kevin Plank ’96.

Record Year for University of Maryland’s Dingman Center Angels The end of 2011 marked the close of an active year for Dingman Center Angels investor network. In the past year, members invested in eight regional companies, making 2011 the network’s most active year since its founding in 2004.
2012 China Business Plan Competition The Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship awarded $10,000 to winners of the 2012 China Business Plan Competition, in partnership with the Guanghua School of Management at Peking University in Beijing.
