Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship Delegation to China 2008
Be part of a transforming journey to one of the world’s most dynamic economies
Beijing-Tianjin, China    Oct. 26 – Nov. 2, 2008

Expand your understanding with up-close opportunities to interact with business leaders, observe operations and ask detailed questions.

Even in this age of instantaneous, digital communication, nothing can match first-hand impressions and insight.

Carefully designed company visits, tours of cultural attractions and candid interpersonal interactions will bring to life Napoleon’s famous remark, “When China wakes, it will shake the world.” Participants will come to understand first-hand the trends driving the Chinese economy, what local executives are thinking and achieving, how ordinary Chinese citizens experience daily life, and the unique color and flavor of the cities of Beijing and Tianjin.

“My first trip to China was with the Dingman Center delegation four years ago. I was blown away. Now, a major focus of my business is on investing in new ventures in China.” — S. Tien Wong, Opus 8 Inc. CEO and Dingman Entrepreneur-in-Residence

All delegation participants will automatically join the Dingman Center for the 2008 China Business Plan Competition final event and awards ceremony in Beijing on Oct. 29 and will see who comes away with this year’s $25,000 top prize. The Smith School holds this annual event to encourage the growth of innovation and entrepreneurship in China. Dingman delegates will have the chance to network with China’s top business leaders, government officials, investors and entrepreneurs.
