Curriculum
Your certificate can be used to advance your graduate degree ambitions at the University of Maryland, College Park. You can apply for one of two masters’ programs we offer - 9 of your 15 certificate credits may be applied towards either the Master of Engineering - Cybersecurity from the A. James Clark School of Engineering or the MS in Information Systems from the Robert H. Smith School of Business.
Please note: Degree candidates will have to meet the admissions standards of the masters' programs. There is a time limit on degree completion, and thus on credit transfer. Once admitted to the Certificate program, please let us know if you wish to be considered for either of these graduate degree programs.
The National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) have jointly designated the University of Maryland as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Research.
