Internationalizing Doctoral Education in Business Conference

The conference, intended for Ph.D. students early in their program, is held annually at one of the 31 CIBERs. The conference is designed to increase the globalization of doctoral programs in the United States and influence doctoral students early in their studies to approach their studies and research with an international perspective.

It was held at the Columbia University CIBER in July 2007 and at the University of Connecticut CIBER in July 2006. Two to three Smith doctoral students attended each conference.

We will again be sponsoring 2-3 of our doctoral students to attend the future Internationalizing Doctoral Education Business Conferences in the coming years, and conference information, when it becomes available, will be posted on this page.

Please contact Ms. Janet Woodruff, Administrative Assistant, if you are interested in attending the 2009 conference.
