International Business Bootcamp

New Course

BMGT 392: Introduction to International Business and Management
Robert H. Smith School of Business
Ronald Reagan Building, Concourse Level
Washington, D.C.
May 27-31, 2008

The Smith School CIBER will again be offering BMGT 392 in an innovative boot camp format in May 2008. This three-credit course will have classes in the mornings in the Smith School suite in the Reagan Building, Washington, D.C., and visits to international organization in the afternoons.

The course is about the challenges and excitement of doing business internationally, and will have both classroom and experiential learning activities (in addition to pre-work and post-work). With the overseas activities of corporations accounting for almost $20 trillion in annual revenues, they constitute a significant and increasing component of the world economy and our daily lives. Therefore, more and more organizations now require international understanding and cross-cultural sensitivity of their employees and managers.
