Student Programs
The Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) staff are
working with a number of academic units within the Smith School and across the University
of Maryland (UMD) campus to bring resources and opportunities for students to strengthen
their international business knowledge and expertise. Several of these are ongoing
initiatives at Smith and UMD and some are new initiatives being undertaken by CIBER.
Some of these opportunities are also available to students from other schools and
colleges at the University of Maryland, College Park.
You may access these resources and opportunities via this page and by speaking
with CIBER staff. If
you have a specific "international" project in mind, please contact
Dr. Kislaya Prasad, CIBER Director.
The Center for International Business Education and Research offers two
international courses/projects that satisfy the Smith Experience requirements
for MBA students. The CIBER consortium Global Business Project (GBP) is
available to first year students and the Smith School CIBER International
Consulting/Action Learning Project is available to second year students.
