Smith CIBER Supports MBA and MPP Students in
Consulting Projects in Sri Lanka
Smith
CIBER, the School of Public Policy, the Center for Social Value Creation and USAID partnered to organize consulting
projects in Sri Lanka for UMD students. Seven MBA and MPP graduate students
spent two weeks in-country in June working on four different projects.
In teams
of two, the students worked with the country’s agriculture ministry to improve
their IT systems, an English school to increase enrollment and provide financial
stability, and an up-start fishery to provide a comprehensive marketing plan and
an analysis of its supply chain.
