Registration Fee
The Microeconomics of Competitiveness
course is open to:

Graduate students from University of
Maryland College Park and University
of Maryland Baltimore
-
Economic development professionals,
government officials, members/heads
of industry associations,
researchers, and all others
interested in regional and national
competitiveness and prosperity
Students from the Robert H. Smith
School of Business may register for the
course on Testudo. Non-Smith School
students from UM College Park and UM
Baltimore interested in attending the
course are invited to write to Professor
Vinod Jain indicating their
educational and professional background
as well as career interests.

Registration Fee for Professional
Participants
Up to February 15: $3,250
After February 15: $3,500
Registration fee includes
The fee for professional participants
includes tuition, all course materials,
and business lunches on course days.
When you register, you will receive a
letter of confirmation, complete course
details, contact information, plus a map
of the location. Payment must be
received before the first day of class.
Please note also that invoice requests
are only accepted up to two weeks prior
to first day of class.
Cancellation and substitution
policy (professional participants)
If you are unable to attend the
course for any reason, you may make
substitutions at no extra charge but we
would appreciate prior notice. There are
no refunds for missed sessions/days.
If you wish to cancel your
registration we require at least two
weeks' prior written notice. If you
cancel at least two weeks prior to the
conference, an administration fee of 20%
will be payable. If full payment has
already been made, the balance (less the
administration fee) will be refunded. If
your cancellation notice is NOT received
at least two weeks prior to the first
day of class, you will be liable for
payment of the full fee and will not be
entitled to any refund.
