Faculty Programs
Best Paper Award
One of CIBER’s objectives is to
encourage research by Smith faculty on
“international” topics related to their
own disciplines that will further the
international competitiveness of United
States business. Accordingly, in
2006-07, Smith CIBER instituted a Best
Paper Award for “Research on an
International Subject” ($5,000), based
on a paper published in a refereed
journal during the last three years
(January 2004 - December 2006).
This year, the CIBER Research Award
Committee received three proposals for
the Best Paper Award (based on papers
published during January 2005 – December
2007).
