Faculty Best Paper Award

One of CIBER’s objectives is to encourage research by Smith faculty on “international” topics related to their own disciplines that will further the international competitiveness of United States business. Accordingly, in 2006-07, Smith CIBER instituted a Best Paper Award for “Research on an International Subject” ($5,000), based on a paper published in a refereed journal during the last three years (January 2004 - December 2006).

This year, the CIBER Research Award Committee received three proposals for the Best Paper Award (based on papers published during January 2005 – December 2007).

Congratulations to Professor Sunil Mithas who received the 2007-08 Best Paper Award for the following paper:
