Investing in America: The Indian Story

The lunch-time seminar, "Investing in America: The Indian Story," took place at the Smith School on August 21, 2008.  This event was part of an initiative led by the U.S.-India Business Council (USIBC) and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) to focus on the unique contributions companies of Indian origin are making to the American landscape through technology innovation, corporate social responsibility initiatives, employment generation and other means. 

The USIBC-FICCI initiative highlighted the top Indian companies operating in America, including: The Tata Group, Ranbaxy Laboratories, HCL Technologies, Mahindra USA, Satyam Computer Services Ltd., Essar Group, Wockhardt USA, Thermax, ITC Group, Wipro, Essel Propack, and Jet Airways among others.
