Global Terrorism - Threats, Mitigation, and Opportunities for the Corporate World

Mr. Rafi Ron
President and CEO, New Age Security Solutions

The nature of terrorism has changed in the last couple of decades from regional to global and from political to religious. These changes are reflected in terrorists target choice, tactics, and organization. The presentation will explore issues such as how the corporate world has been affected, what we are doing about it, what works, and what doesn't in this new kind of war. There are different mitigation strategies. Mr. Ron we'll compare the U.S. approach to the EU and the Israeli approaches.

Whenever a major change in global realities occurs, new opportunities emerge for the corporate world. The need to address the terrorist threats has created a new and very large market for homeland security products, services, and knowledge. Companies that recognize the need correctly will be able to turn the threat into an advantage.

Regulatory and Security Compliance in a Global Economy

Mr. James Grant DOWNLOAD PRESENTATION

The increasing impact that technology is having on our world is hanging us in both economic structure and our social fabric. The pressures created by this wave of change have required governments to begin to address these deeply complex issues. The response has been a variety of regulations that seek to address concerns ranging from business ethics to privacy and identity theft. The focus of this presentation is to provide the audience with a brief overview of these regulations and to frame them into the larger compliance and security framework that business organizations must address. The audience should hope to leave this discussion with a fundamental understanding of this "holistic" view of government regulations, business compliance, and security and how they interrelate to one another on a global basis.
