The Center for Financial Policy at the University of Maryland was launched in
November 2009 with the mission of developing thought leadership in financial
policy that impacts corporate performance, capital allocation and the stability
of the global financial system. Since then, the Center has hosted conferences,
forums, dialogues with senior policy makers, and Congressional briefings. It has
also disseminated policy briefs, white papers, and working papers on issues at
the interface of finance and public policy.
