National Technology Readiness Survey

Co-sponsored by the Center for Excellence in Service and Rockbridge Associates, Inc., the National Technology Readiness Survey (NTRS) is an annual nationwide survey of American adults (18 years or older). The NTRS was first devised by Professor A. Parasuraman and Rockbridge CEO Charles Colby. The primary purpose of the NTRS is to provide an in-depth view of consumer beliefs about new technologies. In addition to offering comprehensive information about peoples’ technology beliefs, the NTRS also examines consumers’ technology vision, employees’ technology vision, usage of technology-based products and services, the impact of the Internet on behavior, cellular phone usage, desired methods of tech support, and the association between peoples’ technology beliefs and their demographics and lifestyles.
