Through Services Sciences, Management and Engineering, IBM combines its knowledge of computer science, operations research, industrial engineering, business strategy, management sciences, social and cognitive sciences, and legal sciences to enhance the services-driven economy. Industrial Technology Research Institute

The Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) is a nonprofit research and development organization in Taiwan that was established in 1973 by the Ministry of Economic Affairs to meet the technological needs of Taiwan's industrial development.  ITRI has contributed to the economy's shift from agricultural-based to industrial-based, with its major research initiatives consisting of the following: Communications and Optoelectronics, Precision Machinery and MEMS, Materials and Chemical Engineering, Sustainable Development, Biotechnology and Medicine.

National Academies Press

Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Association

Dedicated to publicizing successful wireless data applications and customer communities, the Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Association (CTIA) is composed of network service providers, wireless device and infrastructure equipment manufacturers and vendors, computer software and hardware developers, and information services content providers. (Note: The Wireless Data Forum, our previous center ally, merged with CTIA in 2001.)

CommerceNet

CommerceNet is a global non-profit organization that has been evolving to meet the needs of companies doing electronic commerce since 1994. This community of influential e-Commerce decision-makers is over 600 strong, with a focus on business-to-business e-Commerce worldwide. CommerceNet is uniquely poised to not only talk about e-Commerce, but to actively work in collaboration with industry executives, academia, entrepreneurs, and investors to promote and advance e-Commerce globally. CommerceNet is the source of information, education, research and inspiration for the unfolding e-Commerce marketplace.

E-Gov

E-Gov ("delivering government services in the digital world") is the leading Internet organization devoted to better government service using the World Wide Web. Areas of focus include conferences on such topics as electronic procurement, web-enabled government, knowledge management in government, and the protection of government information assets. E-Gov publications include Civic.com, E-Gov Journal, and Federal Computer Week.
