Member
Charles Colby is President of
Rockbridge Associates, Inc., a
Washington, DC area market research firm
that deals with technology marketing
issues for services firms. For over 20
years, he has consulted for premier
companies such as Discovery Channel,
Verizon, Versign, Marriott, MCI, Capital
One, BP and the U.S. Postal Service. He
is an expert in strategic planning,
advanced research design and data
analysis. He has contributed extensively
to the body of knowledge on technology
adoption, having written numerous
articles and presented at conferences.
Mr. Colby recently co-authored a book
with A. Parasuraman entitled
Techno-Ready Marketing: How and Why your
Customers Adopt Technology. He is a
senior fellow at the Center for
E-Services at the University of
Maryland.
Prior to founding Rockbridge in 1992,
Mr. Colby held positions at Opinion
Research Corporation, Citicorp and
Westat. He obtained a MBA from the
University of Maryland, College Park, in
1980.
