Dr. Linsley’s interests are primarily in financial and managerial accounting. He is a CPA and teaches undergraduate and advanced MBA courses. Before coming to the Smith School he taught at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and SUNY-Buffalo, and has also held appointments in the UK and Italy.

Dr. Linsley has published in both economics and accounting; most recently in the Managerial Auditing Journal in January 2008. He has won teaching awards and research grants, and has provided litigation support and expert witness testimony to law firms.
