Gerald Hoberg

Gerard Hoberg's research interests include topics in corporate finance, industrial organization, and empirical asset pricing. His recent work in IPOs examines the sources of underwriting profits, insider trading patterns, and performance in competitive industries. Prior to earning his doctorate, Hoberg served as vice president of a quantitative transaction optimization firm, and as a researcher addressing exchange efficiency and anti-trust. His teaching interests include corporate finance and restructuring, and the theoretical foundations of corporate finance and asset pricing theory.
