General site help

• If the site has problem with loading the page or any of the controls do not work well ensure that the actions were tried using 'Internet Explorer' or 'Firefox'. This is because 'Chrome' does not support some of the functions of the site.
• If sometimes the data that was entered previously is displayed even after logging off the session, or if there is a need to log in as a different user, ensure that the window is closed and reopened after 'log off'. This is because the system tends to store the session cookies even after 'log off' and the only way to clear these cookies is to close the window and reopen.
• Limit on all single line text boxes is 240 characters. The system will not accept characters beyond the allowable 240 characters in any single line text box.

Access Controls

Functions are available based on the level of access available for the user. If there is a problem in accessing a particular resource, first ensure that the action/ resource is available to the group you belong to.

Edit Resources

• In order to edit resources (Check access availability first) ensure that the edit option is turned on. Steps to turn on editing
• When logged in, the system will display a 'Manage' button right next to your name on the right hand top corner.
• Click on the 'manage' button to open the update user window.
• Click on 'View Options' and check 'show edit controls'.
• Click on 'Save'.
